Dried Habanero Chilli Peppers 10 g – whole dried chillies

If you are looking for quality dried Habanero peppers, these whole pods keep all of their aroma and are ready for your own kitchen experiments.
The Habanero chilli
Habanero is one of the most popular superhot chillies. It has a distinctly fruity, slightly tropical aroma and a very strong heat. The heat is unevenly distributed in the pod – it is highest around the seeds.
How to prepare dried chilli
- add the dry pieces straight into your food while cooking
- or pour boiling water over the pods and leave them for 25 minutes (rehydrating), then use them in your recipe as needed
- grind the pods to a powder or crush them coarsely – this gives you your own chilli spice or chilli flakes
- remove the seeds for a milder heat
What is it good with?
- goulash, soups and sauces
- chilli con carne and Mexican dishes
- homemade chilli sauces and chilli oils
- marinades for meat
- making your own chilli powder or chilli flakes
Tip: Habanero goes wonderfully in chilli con carne, goulash, curry, chicken wing marinades and salsa.
